Last week, Ubisoft announced the release date for Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. Having been a game released in 2012, obviously there have been some massive improvements in technology and Ubisoft’s capabilities to make great looking games. Sure, to some it’s still a nice looking game, but to those used to 4K gaming it isn’t quite as pretty as it could be. But, with the remaster, it fixes that with 4K compatibility.
I will not judge you if you questioned whether they plan to release the game on the Nintendo Switch. As established, Nintendo has over a thousand games on their system in the span of almost two years. Some of which are already Ubisoft-owned, so to say they aren’t interested in the console is obviously wrong.
Wonder no more because a Switch listing may have been leaked by Ubisoft themselves. Seemingly first spotted on Twitter by AwesomePlatter (shared by CrocOclock), the platform was spotted next to the officially announced platforms.
Club Ubisoft lists Assassins Creed III (3) Remastered for Nintendo Switch on their website alongside PS4, Xbox One and PC and a release date of 29 March 2019.

Now, if you go to the Assassin’s Creed III Remastered page (after logging in) the platform in question has disappeared. All that remains is the already announced platforms. Some users are expecting it will be announced during the upcoming Nintendo Direct rumored to happen on February 13.
For right now, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will be released March 24, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
