Nintendo Switch Boasts Over A Thousand Games

The Nintendo Switch is nearing its second birthday and, as it turns out, it’s got quite the collection to boast. Despite its rather young age, it’s got a rather large library of over a thousand games under its belt. This list of games includes those created by third parties such as Bethesda, Square Enix, Capcom, Ubisoft, and more.

This isn’t entirely a surprise, with Nintendo loosening up on who can develop games for their console, it’s a no-brainer. Following the proven success of the Nintendo Switch, many developers saw a big opportunity. The console is, after all, a homebound and portable. This means if they can bring their game to the Nintendo Switch, not only will console players play it, but also more on-the-go gamers will too. This isn’t foolproof, but it’s all about reaching as many eyes as possible, right?
